Statement
There is much excitement and wonder when I start painting - an open mind, open color selection -> no rules. Drawing styles and painting techniques are intertwined throughout. Color combinations and manipulation result in textures contrasting and complimenting one other. Brushes, pallet knives and other tools create patterns, shapes, etc...Painting allows me to create based on what feels right, what I think flows and works. It is this mental challenge that inspires me to create pictures and promote creativity in general.
